Yucel Donmez is a Turkish American artist who works in Chicago and Istanbul. While the artist is known for his innovations in visual arts, he is also known for his contemporary works on subway stations and public spaces in Istanbul. Yucel Donmez is the first artist who painted on the snow in the world and has made official the first snow in Erzurum in Turkey in 1968. The first snow official event was held in Uludag ski center in 1975 with the support of the sponsor.  

Later, Donmez made the official snow event in many places and in 1993, he painted two snow paintings at the Grand Park in Chicago.

He applies the style used in Yucel Donmez's paintings with his own technique. The acrylic technique that Donmez has been using since 1979 is being used by tens of thousands of artists in the world in the early period. Donmez, who is also known for his protest art works, has added a new dimension to the history of contemporary art with his sculptures made with different materials.

Yucel Donmez also began his new media career in 1988 with the Corel Drow program in Chicago, and later became one of America's first digital artists to work with video and digital collage. In this online exhibition, you can see the artist's works that have never been seen before in visual arts.
